Mowiklip is a chrome extension plugin that helps Netflix users to skip, mute or play only selected part of movies played through Netflix. Netflix users on clicking the Mowiklip chrome extension will be done Google auth signin. With this approach, minimal collection of users personal data is done . Here personal data includes & participants name and google auth token in response to gmail id. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our software (collectively referred to as our “Services”).
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the practise of collection, usage and sharing of information.
Information Collection and Use
Mowiklip accesses the movies watched by Netflix users. Data hereafter refers to movies & that can be watched by users in Netflix . Users referred here are members who have been authorized and authenticated by Netflix to watch movies. App has three usages: 1) Users can skip the part of Netflix movie, they are not interested to watch by choosing the title, description, start and end timestamps of the same. 2) Users can mute the part of Netflix movie, they are not interested to listen by choosing the title, description, start and end timestamps of the same. 3) Users can only play the part of Netflix movie, they are interested to watch by choosing the title, description, start and end timestamps of the same. None of the participant data is stored in servers. We collect information like for signin name, auth token from google for signin purposes. We do not collect any personal information about the participants except the participant name. Personal info means personally identifiable information such as your email address, physical address, calendar entries, contacts, files, photos, etc. None of the information in servers are shared with any third party.
Data Storage
We collect and store information generated by Google during oAuth single signon authentiation process such as id generated by google, app generated user name for authentication purposes. Also , We collect and store information such as the movie titles, time stamps, user entered description for the type of edit that the user wishes to skip, mute or play selected part. We store only this information related to movies for required operations by the extension. The Services and any emails sent to you by the Services (or otherwise by us) may utilize cookies, web beacons, embedded scripts, or similar technologies that automatically collect such information about you. This information is used for troubleshooting & providing better service. It's not shared with any third party.
Security
Access Token and refresh token generated and shared by google is used for authenticating users to access the edit features of Mowiklip. We take reasonable measures to protect all data processed in our server any personal information we may hold about you in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

We will update the Privacy Policy from time to time. Hence, please review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
